<p>PURPOSE: To attain high speed processing by performing run-length decoding of a compressed image, repeatedly processing each pixel of thinned array, storing a reorganized image and feedbacking it to a processing means. CONSTITUTION: An image device 12 gives an image to a Poisson compressing circuit 14 and the circuit 14 uses Poisson image processing (PPP) operation method. In the PPP operation method, compression is performed by a 1st local operation processing to an entire image, the result is performed by run length to encode, a local operation is carried out in a window that includes a central pixel and pixels which are over, below, left to and right to the central pixel, the center pixel is multiplied by a multiplication value, and the sum of the over, below, left and right pixels is subtracted from the result of the multiplication. When the absolute value of the result is smaller than a threshold, the central pixel is replaced with 0, or the central pixel is shifted to the left. Thereby, the processing is accelerated.</p> |
