METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MOISTURE OF BIOLOGICAL DEODORIZING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To simplify the moisture control of peat in a biological deodorizing apparatus passing malodorous gas through a mixing tank containing peat on which bacteria having malodor decomposability are immobilized to deodorize the same. CONSTITUTION:The pressure loss of malodorous gas before and after the passage through peat in a biological deodorizing apparatus is measured and the humidification of peat is controlled corresponding to the measured value of said pressure loss. Pref., a compaction preventing material is received in the mixing tank and the volume ratio of peat and the compaction preventing material is set to 1:1-1:2.
