<p>PURPOSE:To clean bath water by a small amount of a carrier by incorporating the carrier on which activated sludge obtained by oxidation treatment is immobilized by a photo-cross-linkable resin or a urethane prepolymer in the cleaning part of the route through which the bath water in a bathtub is circulated. CONSTITUTION:Activated sludge having nitrating function cultured in a water tank held to 39-40 deg.C for six months or more by aerating oxidation treatment is immobilized on a photo-cross-linkable resin or a urethane prepolymer synthesized from diol and diisocyanate. For example, when activated sludge is immobilized by the urethane prepolymer, both of them are stirred and mixed in a predetermined ratio and allowed to stand for about 0.5-2hr to gel the prepolymer to immobilize the activated sludge. At this time, atmospheric temp. is set to low temp. of several deg.C so as not to lower the activity of bacteria. The bath water of a bathtub 1 is sucked in a cleaning part 5 from a water inlet to be discharged to the bathtub 2 through a water feed pipe 2. Large waste refuse is removed in the filtering part of the water inlet and org. matter is oxidized and decomposed in two cleaning columns 5 in which the carrier having activated sludge immobilized thereon is incorporated and, especially, ammonia is nitrated.</p> |
