This method is used in analytical appliance engineering, for measuring the concentration of mercury steam in the atmosphere, in the chemical industry as well as for environmental control. It is simplified and is implemented easily. Description : a piece-resonance transducer is blown through with a voluntary volume of gaseous mixture for a certain period of time, because the process is based on the dependency of its own frequency of the resonator, from the additional mass accumulated on the electrodes of the resonator. The analysed mixture is pumped out into the atmosphere and the time interval is measured. In this way, the frequency of the resonator f1 is changed to a preliminarily-set value f2. The concentration is determined by the correlation of the frequency to the time interval according to the formula<IMAGE>where a is a constant, and Tx is the measured time interval.
