PURPOSE:To provide the subjective permanent magnet material provided with higher performance by more enhancing the coercive force of a rare earth-iron base magnet material. CONSTITUTION:This permanent magnet material has an alloy compsn. substantially expressed by the general formula: RaTbMcCudXe (in the formula, R denotes at least one kind selected from rate earth elements including Y, T denotes Fe or Fe-Co, M denotes at least one kind of element selected from Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo and W, X denotes at least one kind selected from B, C, N, H, P and Si as well as (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) are numbers respectively satisfying, by atomic %, a+b+c+d+e=100, 5<=a<=20, 1<=c<=20, 0.1<=d<=10 and 0<=e<=8). |
