<p>PURPOSE:To form the sea reclamation material by compacting and solidifying aq. suspension contg. a cement-like mixture consisting of alkaline earth metal hydroxides, fly ashes and alkaline earth metal sulfites, then crushing and drying the solidified mixture. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gases of power plants are introduced into a limestone slurry to prepare the slurry contg. the alkaline earth metal sulfites and sulfates such as CaSO2.1/2H2O and CaSO4.2H2O. A prescribed amt. of the fly ashes are added to this slurry and after the moisture thereof is adjusted, lime is incorporated therein to obtain the slurry contg. 30 to 90% cement-like mixture consisting of 25 to 70wt.% (hereafter %) alkaline earth metal hydroxides, such as Ca(OH)2 0.25 to 70% alkaline earth metal sulfites (contg. partly sulfate) and 10 to 99.5% fly ashes. This slurry is solidified under compaction 9 to 11kg/cm<2> uniaxial compressive strength. The solidified mixture is then crushed to form the mixture composed of coarse grained matter and fine grained matter, and thereafter, the mixture is dried by heating to prevent the solidification reaction thereof. The sea reclamation material having 1.3 to 1.4kg/cm<3> density is thus obtd.</p> |
