PURPOSE: To obtain a cyanoacrylate adhesive composition containing a cyanoacrylate monomer, an elastomer and a core-shell polymer, and having high shear, peel and impact strengths as well as excellent resistances to cryogenic cycle and heat. CONSTITUTION: This adhesive composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a cyanoacrylate monomer, (B) 0.5-30 pts.wt. of an elastomer which is miscible or compatible with the component A and has a glass transistion temperature (Tg) of <=-10 deg.C, and (C) 3-30 pts.wt. of a core-shell polymer having the core of a rubber polymer of its Tg lower than the room temperature and the shell of a glassy polymer of its Tg higher than the room temperature where the polymer is compatible but not miscible with the component A. The component C is produced by the freezing-thawing process and has 0.1-1μm weight-average particle size.
