PURPOSE: To produce a thermoplastic elastomer markedly improved in moldability and rubber elasticity without detriment to the excellent heat resistance, weathering resistance, strengths, etc., of an olefin thermoplastic elastomer. CONSTITUTION: An ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-3.0 dl/g as measured in a decahydro-naphthalene solution at 135 deg.C and a low-molecular-weightα-olefin copolymer and/or a modified low-molecular- weightα-olefin copolymer are uniformly dispersed in an aqueous medium in the presence of a surfactant to form a copolymer rubber latex, the polymers in the state of the latex are crosslinked to form a crosslinked rubber latex composition, and this composition is dried. The obtained microparticulate crosslinked ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber and a crystalline polyolefin resin are melt-blended.
