PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna system capable of limiting beams in a horizontal face only to one and reducing the side lobes by arranging plural dipole antenna elements at a specific interval and controlling a feeding phase. SOLUTION: Respective dipole antenna element groups DA1, 1 to DA1, 4, DA2, 1 to DA2, 4 each of which consists of four dipole antenna elements arranged on one side of a plane-like reflecting plate R at a distance (d) in parallel with each other and parallel with the reflecting plate R are arranged rectangularly to two straight lines vertical to the plate R and separated from each other by a distance L1. A distance between the dipole antenna element closest to the plate R and the plate R is L2 and signals having respectively different phases changed in each equal phase quantityϕand having equal amplitude are supplied to these elements DA1, 1 to DA1, 4, DA2, 1 to DA2, 4 along the straight lines.
