Liquid transport is automatically stopped once the level of liquid in the higher vessel has fallen to a chosen reference value, and automatically restarted once the level of liquid exceeds this value, using only hydrodynamic components and no moving mechanical parts. The energy required for liquid transport is obtained solely from the kinetic energy of the liquid. |
