METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ESOURCING GOODS AND/OR SERVICES

A method and system for performing sourcing of goods and/or services to a purchaser from a set of suppliers. The method and system allows pooling of t he desired and purchased quantities for all purchasers to obtain favorable terms and/or conditions from suppliers. The system also provides analytics to purchasers as to selected characteristics of the goods and services they have purchased in time periods of interest. The method and system are preferably implemented through a computer network, such as the internet, and in a presently preferred embodiment, a web interface is provided to at least purchasers. The method a nd system also can attend to payment, order routing and invoicing.
