PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lengthy composite material having a uniform external appearance changing in width of an outer surface side or cross sectional shape with small waste of material, and a method for efficiently manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The lengthy composite material 1 comprises a structure that resin parts 3, 4 are compositely integrated along a lengthwise direction of a lengthy molding material 2 and enlarged width parts 1a, 1c are continuously extended from a fixed width part 1b. In this case, the material 2 having substantially predetermined width at the part 1b is divided separately into a plurality of partial molding materials 2d, 2e at the parts 1a, 1c, and a resin part 3 covering an isolated part 2f of the divided materials 2d, 2e is formed. |
