A mould is provided that comprises an outer mould (8), a mould core (9), and a profile ring (1) which consists of a ring-shaped part (2), into which a profile element (3) has been pressed to secure the profile element (3) as a consequence of the pressure exerted thereby on the ring-shaped part (2). Hereby it is easy to manufacture pipes (12) with an annular groove at the one extremity (13) of the pipe (12) while simultaneously facilitating stripping of pipe (12) in that the ring-shaped part can be pulled off the finished pipe without presupposing special measures to loosen the profile element (3) from the annular part (2).
