<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the furnace interior pressure of a refuse incinerator can be controlled accurately with high responsiveness even when the incinerator is of the latest model equipped with such equipment as the bag filter, etc. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas from the main body 1 of an incinerator is induced by an induced draft fan 8 through an exhaust gas boiler 2, an economizer 3, an exhaust gas cooling tower 4, a bag filter 5, an exhaust gas reheater 6, and a denitrating reaction tower 7 and discharged to the atmosphere from a chimney 9. A system controller 14 compares the pressure in the main body 1 detected by means of a pressure detector 10 with a set value and operates the outlet damper 15 of the boiler 2 through a damper operating device 16 so as to make the detected pressure coincident with the set value. The system controller 14, in addition, controls the opening of the inlet damper 11 of the induced draft fan 8 through another damper operating device 12 so that the detected pressure at the inlet of the bag filter 5 may become a target value or may fall within a target range.</p> |
