PURPOSE: An electrode for plasma display device is provided to enhance discharge sustain time and discharge space, and to enhance brightness by increasing vacuum UV. CONSTITUTION: The present invention discloses an electrode for plasma display device comprising: two substrates(101,102) coupled each other in parallel; a pair of sustain electrodes(106,106') formed on one substrate; address electrodes(104) formed in a direction crossed with said sustain electrodes to form a cell in the cross point; separating walls(103) formed between said substrates to define a discharge space; grooves(100) formed on the center of respective cell and which address electrode is positioned in. Said sustain electrode pair are formed along the top end of said separating wall and form protrudes extended to the surface of the substrates along the sides of the separating wall in respective cell. |
