<p>PURPOSE: A method for selectively processing traffic is provided to firstly process a packet than general traffic, by storing in a queue having priority when receiving/transmitting the packet, in an internetworking device such as a router. CONSTITUTION: A method for selectively processing traffic in an internetworking device comprises the steps of: deciding IP(Internet Protocol) address confirmation of a received/transmitted packet, and comparing a destination IP address or a source IP address with an IP address of the internetworking device itself; storing confirmed IP address in a priority queue, when the confirmed IP address is the address of the internetworking device.</p> |
