<p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling radio PRMA(Packet Reservation Multiple Access) is provided to secure each service quality, by reducing control load even when traffic congestion, in a radio packet communication system. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling radio PRMA(Packet Reservation Multiple Access)comprises the steps of: setting up a plurality of channels for reservation use corresponding to each service quality and communication channels, on a packet radio transmission line between a base station and a mobile station; the mobile station delivering a reservation signal by selecting one channel for reservation use among the plurality of the channels for reservation use, according to service quality desired to a corresponding transmission packet; and the base station performing transmission control to the communication channels of the transmission packet, according to service quality corresponding to the channel for reservation use of the reservation signal, received normally. The plurality of channels for reservation use has many channels according to each service quality. Numbers of the each channel are adaptively controlled according to traffic, and channels for reservation use are divided every service class.</p> |
