<p>PURPOSE: A method for sending asynchronous packet data is provided to send data to a node with reference to a bus reset for an addition/delete of the node by assigning to a machine name of each node a content of an address of a memory provided to each node on IEEE 1394 network. CONSTITUTION: In a method for sending asynchronous packet data, in a case that one of nodes is added or deleted(ST100), a bus reset is performed(ST102). After the bus reset operation, all nodes contacted with a transfer network read own memory, respectively, and then send own ID and a machine name, respectively(ST104). After sending own ID and the machine name of each node(ST105), a name and an identification of a predetermined destination node is sent(ST106). The destination node and a transfer path are set, and then the data is sent(ST110).</p> |
