<p>PURPOSE:To provide a golf ball having strong adhesion between a golf ball body and paint and high resistance against color change due to heat or light by dipping the golf ball into an aqueous solution including a prescribed amount of active chlorine before being coated with clear paint. CONSTITUTION:A golf ball is formed by vulcanizing and molding a basic material rubber, such as a rubber component containing a polybutadiene and a crosslinking agent. The golf ball thus vulcanized and molded, after it has undergone a facial polishing treatment, is dipped into an aqueous solution containing active chlorine for chemical treatment. In this instance, the active chlorine contained in this aqueous solution is 0.01 to 0.15wt.%. As a result, the adhesion between the golf ball body and the paint can be increased and the resistance against color change due to heat or light can be improved.</p> |
