<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an automobile from unnecessarily moving on a conveyer by determining whether a load exerted to the conveyer is large or small, and by effecting parking brake if the load is small. CONSTITUTION:A pallet lock device 24 is unlocked after the front end of an automobile C on a pallet 22 abuts against a stopper roller 101 so as to operate a pallet drive device 23. In this case, if parking brake is left to be ineffective, the rear wheels of the automobile can freely rotate. Accordingly, when the pallet drive device 23 is operated, the pallet 22 freely advances. When the pallet 22 advances, a pallet movement detecting sensor 21 is turned off. At this time, a stopper operation detecting sensor 131 is turned on. That is, if the stopper operation detecting sensor 13 is turned on but the pallet movement detecting sensor 121 is turned off, it is determined that the parking brake is left to be ineffective. If it is found from the result of the checking that the parking brake is left to be ineffective, the parking brake is effected.</p> |
