<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily fixing a communication cable on a upper space of a branch pipe while laying the communication cable by using an existing branch pipe without being processed, and a device used for the laying method. SOLUTION: In a method for laying such a communication cable 24 as an optical fiber cable from a main pipe in a sewerage to a catch basin for house through the medium of a branch pipe 22, a band-shape cloth 9 coated with an adhesive which is mounted on a plastic sheet is vortically wounded on the surface of a cylindrical air tube 4 mounted on moving wheels 2. The air tube 4 is inserted into the inside surface of the branch pipe 22 on which the communication cable 24 is laid with the communication cable 24 arranged on the space above the branch tube 22. An adhesive is solidified by enlarging the vortically shaped cloth 9 by thrusting the cloth 9 to the inner surface of the branch pipe 22. By so doing, the communication cable 24 in the branch pipe 22 is fixed.</p> |
