PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat sealing type adhesive labels which do not need a release paper and are suited in labeling to cylindrical containers of refreshing beverage, liquors, drugs, foods and the like and transformed containers by plastic materials. SOLUTION: Heat sealing type adhesion labels can be obtained by coating a heat sealing type adhesive on the back of a surface base material, and the smoothness of the back of the surface base material according to the J Tappi Paper Pulp Testing Method No.5 is not less than 150 sec. Or the heat sealing type adhesive labels can be obtained by providing the back of a surface base material with a smoothing layer whose surface has a smoothness according to the J Tappi Paper Pulp Testing Method No.5 of not less than 150 sec and coating a heat sealing type adhesive on the smoothing layer.
