PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to hold a terminal in the cavity without looseness. SOLUTION: The female connector housing F is composed of a housing 9 housing a terminal fitting and a terminal holding fixture 15 having a front stopper 28 of the terminal fitting. The terminal holding fixture 15 is formed in one body of a terminal locking portion 18 which locks with the connecting portion 6 of the female terminal fitting. The length between the terminal locking portion 18 and the front stopper wall 28 is established equal to the total length of the connection portion 6 of the female terminal fitting 18, thereby the terminal locking portion 18 can be locked in close contact with the rear end of the connection portion 6.
