摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long life reliable thin plate far infrared ray heater that can heat effectively the fine portion such as a sensor and the like as it can suppress effectively heating at the terminal portion and control the temperature distribution by a simple method. SOLUTION: The thin far infrared heater is composed of double structure having a conductive ceramic layer at the center portion composed mainly of aluminum silicate with Si and/or FeSi as a conductive material and an insulating ceramic layer at the outside of it composed of aluminum silicate containing mullite particles. The electrode made of the aluminum flame spray coated layer constitutes the heater end sectional electrode 43 and the side face sectional electrode 44.
