<p>The invention concerns a transmission receiver multimedia apparatus (20) comprising a communication circuit (9, 8, 10, 3, 7) with means to be connected to an audio-visual communication network (21). The invention is characterised in that it comprises: a bus connector (11) for communicating with a source apparatus (17) comprising at least a conductor (VBUS) for transmitting a supply voltage derived from the source apparatus (17); means for detecting (1) the presence of said supply voltage, said detecting means (1) being connected to the connector (11), said detecting means (1) generating a detection signal when the supply voltage occurs, to the communication circuit (9, 8, 10, 3, 7), said communication circuit (9, 8, 10, 3, 7) being connected to the detecting means, for switching through a switching circuit (3) the multimedia apparatus from a first operating mode, called standby mode, wherein the communication circuit (9, 8, 10, 3, 7) has minimum active functions to a second operating mode, called active mode, wherein the communication circuit (9, 8, 10, 2, 7) has its communication function, between the connector (11) and the audio-visual network, activated, the switching resulting from the occurrence of the bus supply voltage.</p> |
