<p>PURPOSE:To connect a receiver tube and an insertion tube without operating an intermediate jack in an intermediate sleeve tube for the jacking method. CONSTITUTION:A backup ring 36 is inserted into a circular groove 35 formed on the outer periphery of an insertion tube 8. A circular seal material 45 is arranged on the outer periphery of the insertion tube 8 on the tip side from the backup ring 36. A push ring 47 coupled with a bolt 48 screwed into the insertion tube 8 is provided. The push ring 47 compresses the seal material 45 between it and the backup ring 36 when the bolt 48 is fastened and presses the seal material 45 to the outer peripheral face of the insertion tube 8 and the inner peripheral face 31 of a receiver tube 7.</p> |
