PURPOSE: A piston processing method of a compressor is provided to process a recessed containing part in a header of a piston promptly and accurately by rotating a bed spirally, and to improve working efficiency and reduce failure rate by forming the round containing part. CONSTITUTION: A piston(1) is fixed in a jig(11) installed in a bed(10), and a tool(12) is moved up and down or turned in the upper part. The bed is turned with making a three-dimensional circle by CAM(computer aided manufacturing) program, and moved up and down. A containing part(8) of the piston is processed with turning and moving the tool, and the piston is turned spirally between processed surfaces. The containing part on the header of the piston is cut slowly with an edge part(12a) of the tool by turning the bed spirally. The center of the bed is returned, and the header of the piston is placed on the axis of the tool in processing the containing part. The piston is drawn out in lifting the tool up. Working efficiency is improved, and the failure rate is reduced with processing the containing part promptly and accurately by turning the bed spirally.
