PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing color filters which is excellent in use efficiency of materials, does not include a developing stage of a wet process and washing stage and is simple in a stage. SOLUTION: In a first stage, a photosensitive resin layer 14R contg. coloring agents is formed between a transfer base material sheet 12 and a release film 13. In a second stage, the photosensitive resin layer 14R is exposed from the release film side via a photomask 21R. The exposure is set at 2 to 60% of the min. exposure necessary for completely curing the photosensitive resin layer 14R. The release film 13 is then peeled to allow the unexposed parts of the photosensitive resin layer 14R to remain as photosensitive resin patterns 15R on the transfer base material sheet 12. In a third stage, the photosensitive resin patterns are exposed from the transparent substrate 2 side for color filters superposed on the photosensitive resin patterns on the transfer base material sheet 12. The exposure is set at 2 to 60% of the min. exposure necessary for completely curing the photosensitive resin patterns. The transfer base material sheet 12 is peeled and the photosensitive resin patterns are transferred onto the transparent substrate, by which the colored patterns 3R are formed. |
