SUBSTANCE: method comprises reprocessing nitro mixtures by mixing nitro mixtures with solutions or suspensions of alkali and/or alkaline-earth metal carbonates and/or bicarbonates at pH of 7.1-11.5, temperatures from 15 C to +60 C and N to CO2 molar ratio of 2:1.03-0.1:2 in reaction mixture and weight ratio of evolving CO2 to amount nitro mixture being added to prepare fertilizers, nitrates, nitrites, and carbonates. Method is simple to carry out, does not require considerable energy nor special equipment and construction of special factories, and it is highly ecological, or no large-scale evolution of nitrogen oxides occurs and the resulting fertilizers and salts correspond to existing standards.
