The invention concerns a method for authenticating and tracking a product, in particular a batch of wine bottles or a bottle using at least a first label made of a tamperproof complex plastic film. Said method eliminates label deterioration, provides confidentiality and guarantee associated with products having security labels. The invention enables to monitor confidentially the product which can be controlled at any time. In the case of bottles, the content as well can be guaranteed.
