PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to surely perform insertion-coupling of a male and a female connectors and edge cutting of either connector from its support member. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a female connector 10, a male connector 12, a female-side holder 14, and a male-side holder 16. The female-side holder 14, made of rubber, is elastically deformed until the rear end of the female connector 10 strikes against a fixed partition wall face P when an insertion-coupling force is added, and returns so that the rear end of the female connector 10 is in a state of floating from the fixed partition wall face P, when the insertion-coupling force is released. The male-side holder 16 has a poke-push piece 28 for its tip to a stepped part 32 of the male connector. When the male- side holder is pushed, the male connector 12 is pushed by the poke-push piece 28 and gets insertion-coupled with the female connector 10. Once the insertion- coupling is completed, the poke-push piece 28 is pushed back by the female connector 10 until the tip of the piece 28 is unlocked from the stepped part 32 of the male connector, whereby, the male-side holder 16 relatively advances toward the male connector 12, until finally an inward convex part 30 formed at the tip of the poke-push piece 28 falls into a concave part 52 formed at the female connector 10, to keep an insertion-coupling state.
