PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that a melting damage amount of a contact unit does not increase even if a moving speed of a movable contact unit is made to be slower than before by moderating an electric field of a tip part of the movable contact unit. SOLUTION: In a switch which makes contact units mutually connect and separate by letting a tip part 1A of the movable contact unit 1 go in and out of a contact hole 2A of a fixed contact unit 2, the movable contact unit 1 is equipped with a large diameter part 5 having a larger outside diameter than that of the tip part 1A, and the large diameter part 5 is fixed to an anti-fixed contact unit 2 side of the tip part 1A.
