PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite component capable of suppressing the deterioration due to an insertion loss at a high frequency band, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The composite component comprises a capacitor section 11 and an inductance section 12 overlaid on the capacitor section 11. External electrodes 13 on both sides of the inductance section 12 are not in contact with the inductance section 12.
