PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a lever enabled to confirm an ordinary fitting state without performing an fitting state detecting operation independently from a fitting operation. SOLUTION: A rotatable lever 21 having a locking piece 24 is mounted so as to step across a female connector housing 20, and a locking piece 26 enabled to elastically bend, and a fitting state detection member 29 are mounted on the wall surface of the female connector housing 20. A detection part 30 and a part to be pushed 32 are formed on the fitting state detection member 29 in a shape of see-saw having a connection part 34 as a hinge. When both connectors brought into an ordinary fitting state by rotating the lever 21, the locking piece 24 rides across the locking piece 26, pushes the part to be pushed 32, and makes the detection part 30 move upward. As the detection part 30 protrudes from the wall surface of the female connector housing 20, the ordinary fitting state can be visually judged from outlook, and it does not requires any fitting state detecting operation.
