PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp and a fluorescent lamp device wherein it is prevented that a sealing member is made to be thermally damaged or that an unnecessary large current flows due to accumulation and conduction of scattering substances of an electrode on the sealing member through which an inner lead wire penetrates. SOLUTION: In the fluorescent lamp wherein a pair of the inner lead wires 3 is penetrated through a sealing end part 2 of a light emitting tube 1 and wherein the filament 4 is bridged to the inside end parts of these inner lead wires, it is characterized that a concave part 7 is formed at a position of a root of the inner lead wires or the position between the inner lead wires on the sealing member 2 through which the pair of the inner lead wires 3 is penetrated. As the concave 7 is formed on the sealing member 2, the scattering substances of the electrode become difficult to be deposited, and an electroconductive path becomes difficult to be formed between the inner lead wires 3.
