PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing unit and an image processing program, and a recording medium that can surely eliminate noise in the binding part of a book. SOLUTION: An area 32 to search a noise in a binding part of a book is decided from an input image, an object area of the noise in the binding part is detected by using the decided area 32 for an object, a noise area 41 of the binding part noise is rechecked from information of the detected noise area 41 of the binding part, the noise area 41 of the binding part and other information area 42 are separated and the separated noise area 41 of the binding part is eliminated. |
