PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact data carrier which can specially be fitted to the linear article of an information communication cable without bulkiness, which stores identification data of management information on the article and can easily refer to identification data of management information on the article. SOLUTION: A non-contact data carrier 2 stores identification data and transmits identification data to an interrogator 1 without contact. A coil antenna 3a for communication is included. The coil antenna 3a is formed so that the coil shaft of the coil antenna 3a is arranged along a surface facing the coil antenna 3a of an article in a state where the non-contact data carrier 2 is fitted to the article.
