PURPOSE: An alcohol fuel composition for substitute fuel of gasoline engines is provided to substantially reduce atmospheric environmental pollutants such as HC, NO and NOx and solve various problems generated when using existing alcohol fuels by using low polluting alcohol substitute fuel having high octane number. CONSTITUTION: In an alcohol fuel composition for substitute fuel of gasoline engines in which alcohol is used as a principal fuel by substituting existing gasoline fuel, the alcohol fuel composition comprises 30 to 60 wt.% of alcohol having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, 5 to 30 wt.% of alcohol having 3 to 5 carbon atoms, 10 to 40 wt.% of aromatic component in which benzene is not contained, and 10 to 30 wt.% of non aromatic component, wherein content of the alcohol used as a base compound of the composition is 50 wt.% or more compared with existing gasoline fuel, and wherein the alcohol substitute fuel composition comprises alcohol extracted from petroleum refining process, natural fermentation, natural resources or recycling resources. |
