PURPOSE: A color blindness correction STB(Set-Top Box) for color blindness person is provided to be separated from a display device and correct colors using a color space conversion method. CONSTITUTION: An analog broadcasting tuner(21) tunes a TV broadcasting signal corresponding to a desired channel from an analog broadcasting signal received through an antenna(20). An image input terminal(22) including an RGB input terminal and a YCbCr input terminal receives an image outputted from an image medium device. A multiplexer(23) multiplexes the image signals inputted through the image input terminal. An analog-digital converting unit(24) converts the image signal inputted through the tuner and the image signal inputted through the multiplexer into a digital image signal. A video decoder(25) processes the image outputted from the analog-digital converting unit. A color correcting unit(26) corrects the output signal of the video decoder as a color suitable for color blindness person. A memory unit(31) stores color blindness information of a user and an algorithm for color correction. A control unit(30) controls the memory unit and the color correcting unit, and transmits an image signal suitable for color blindness person. A digital-analog converting unit(27) converts the output signal of the color correcting unit into an analog signal. A demultiplexer(28) demultiplexes the output signal of the digital-analog converting unit. An output terminal(29) including an RGB output terminal and a YCbCr output terminal transmits the output signal of the demultiplexer. |
