PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the behavior of balls by applying axial preload exceeding the value of correcting the deformation of ball rolling groove races, to a ball coupling to assemble a scroll type compressor using the ball coupling having the ball rolling groove races, as an autorotation impeding mechanism of a movable scroll. SOLUTION: An autorotation impeding mechanism is provided between a front housing 4 and a movable end plate 2b in a movable scroll 2 of a scroll type compressor. This autorotation impeding mechanism 9 is called a ball coupling and has a pair of ball rolling groove races 91, 92 with springiness axially opposed to each other, and a plurality of metal balls 93 interposed between the ball rolling groove races 91, 92. The scroll type compressor is assembled applying axial pre-load exceeding the value of correcting the deformation of the ball rolling groove races during operation, to such a ball coupling. The wall height measuring accuracy of the movable scroll 2 when assembled is thereby improved. |
