CHITOSAN-VOLATILE SUBSTANCE COMPOSITION AND SUSTAINED-RELEASE CARRIER AND ANTIMICROBIALLY PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new composition containing a volatile substance using antimicrobial chitosan, to provide a sustained-release carrier comprising the composition, and to provide a method for easily and inexpensively producing the carrier. SOLUTION: The new composition as a chitosan-volatile substance composition is obtained by containing the volatile substance in an aqueous solution that is prepared by aerating carbon dioxide in water to dissolve chitosan therein.
