PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use resources by increasing the number of repeated use of a rechargeable storage medium, in a fuel feeding system for settling a bill for a fuel fed from a fuel feeding apparatus by using the storage medium with prepaid information stored in advance. SOLUTION: In a self service fuel feeding system 1 in which the amount of money for the fuel fed with a metering machine 50 is settled by deducting the amount of money from a fuel-affordable amount of money Md stored in a prepaid card 40. When the prepaid card 40 is issued, the amount of money determined by subtracting a predetermined amount of money corresponding to the price of the card Mc from the amount of money paid Min is set as the fuel-affordable amount of money (Md=Min-Mc). When the status of usage of the prepaid card 40 represented by values changing according to usage of the prepaid card such as the total amount of money paid Mal, the number of times of fueling Cd and the number of times of recharging Cr by using the prepaid card 40a value satisfies a specified condition, the predetermined amount of money Mc deducted at the time of issuing the card is added to the affordable amount of money Md read from the prepaid card 40.
