PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel base variable type vehicle preventing deterioration of visibility in front of the vehicle even if a vehicle seat inclines in conjunction with a size of a wheel base. SOLUTION: The wheel base variable type vehicle 1 is constituted that a front wheel FW is connected to a front part of a main frame 2 mounted to the vehicle seat 3, and an upper end of a pair of turning arm 41 is turnably connected to the rear part of the main frame 2. In the vehicle, a lower end part of the turning arm 41 is turnably connected relative to a rear wheel RW, and upper arms 72, 73 and a lower arm 71 which are mutually turnably connected so as to connect the main frame 2 with the rear wheel RW in the rear part of the turning arm 41. The turning arm 41 is turned by actuating an operation device 5 and the rear wheel RW is moved relative to the front wheel FW. The wheel base is enlarged and at the same time the vehicle seat 3 is made to be inclined so as to be laid down backward. In this time, a back surface part 32 of the vehicle seat 3 is raised forward relative to a seat part 31 in conjunction with turning of the upper arms 72, 73 around the upper end.
