PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head capable of forming a high quality recorded image by stably ejecting and fly ink droplets by driving at a low voltage, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This liquid jet head comprises a solvent guide which is attached to a position corresponding to a through-hole on a surface of a head substrate at the side of a through-hole substrate such that the tip portion of the solvent guide is passed through the through-hole to be projected and it becomes thinner as it goes to the tip end, a control electrode which is provided on the surface of the head substrate for applying an electrostatic force such that the center of the control electrode is roughly coincident with the solvent guide, an electrode take-up section which is connected to the control electrode and is provided so as to pass through the head substrate from the front face to the rear face side, and a wiring section which is provided on the face of the head substrate at the opposite side of the through-hole substrate and is connected to a voltage applying means for applying a voltage to the control electrode.
