LENS CENTERING/EDGING METHOD AND ITS MACHINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens centering/edging method by which chamfering of both faces of a lens can be ground on the same device. SOLUTION: The lens centering/edging method is constituted as follows. The lens 1 to be ground is centered and held to a lens holding shaft. The lens 1 is ground while rotating the lens. The lens 1 is mounted to the lens holding shaft 3 for rotating a lens via a lens holding member 2 made of a grindable material holding the lens 1 in a state of being adhered to one side of the lens.
