<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a speed varying driving device and to suppress production cost, by widening a motor rotation speed varying range, to control the rotational speed by reducing electromagnetic vibration noise, and through phase control and winding switching at low-speed control, to make speed control efficient and to reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A motor is provided with a main winding (L<SB>M</SB>), formed of first and second main windings (L<SB>M1</SB>and L<SB>M2</SB>), auxiliary winding (L<SB>S</SB>) formed of first and second auxiliary windings (L<SB>S1</SB>and L<SB>S2</SB>), and relays (R<SB>M1</SB>, R<SB>M2</SB>, R<SB>S1</SB>and R<SB>S2</SB>) for switching the first and second main windings and first and second auxiliary windings so that they are connected in series/parallel and for enlarging a motor rotation speed range. The motor is also provided with tab windings (L<SB>C1</SB>and L<SB>C2</SB>) which are connected to main winding forming 4 poles and enlarge a variable range of motor rotational speed, when the 4 poles and 12 poles are wound, and a phase control circuit for varying the rotational speed with input power phase control at 12-pole operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
