<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device equipped with a new map scroll operation device for performing a scroll without continuing designation by pressing a touch panel image plane with a finger and having a scroll mode for simply changing a scroll speed. <P>SOLUTION: When a map scroll is indicated by a touch sensor, direction marks for showing a plurality of scroll directions and a speed mark showing an increase or decrease in scroll speed are displayed on a map displayed on a display image plane.
