PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact shape measuring device capable of highly accurately measuring an object to be measured such as a foot. SOLUTION: A measuring head 10 is moved along the upper surface 202 of a measuring base 201 of which locational relationship in a world coordinate system is previously specified to obtain the coordinates of a point of measurement in a coordinate system centering the measuring head 10, and also information on the location of the measuring head 10 in the world coordinate system is obtained on the basis of the picked up image of the measuring head 10 by one CCD camera 21 to convert the coordinates of the point of measurement in the coordinate system centering the measuring head 10 into those in the world coordinate system. |
