PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a laver-rolled sushi capable of efficiently producing the sushi while decreasing the loss of a laver sheet, and provide a method for the production of the laver-rolled sushi. SOLUTION: An intermittently rotating disk 5 is placed on a machine frame F. Cooked rice is supplied into a hole 5a of the disk 5 through a rice-feeding part 4b in the stop position of the disk. The charged rice is pressed with a rice-pressing tool 8 to form a block R of cooked rice at the stopped position after the supply of the cooked rice. A laver sheet is drawn from a laver- supplying roll 17 placed near the rotary disk 5, and is guided forward relative to the rotating direction of the rice block R. The laver sheet guided forward is cut with a cutter 22 to a prescribed length and the cut laver sheet is rolled on the rice block R with a laver rolling member 24 at the stopped position of the rotary disk 5 after the supply of the laver sheet. |
