<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording head which can form an image of a high resolution to a recording medium at a high speed even without an optical system being made large. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of laser recording means 2 of a pencil type comprised of both a semiconductor laser 12 fitted in a cylindrical case 2a and the optical system which sheds a laser beam 12c ejected from the semiconductor laser onto the recording medium 7 are arranged in a sub scanning direction in a head body 1 moved in the sub scanning direction orthogonal to a main scanning direction to the recording medium moved in the main scanning direction, whereby an array is formed. Moreover, the arrays are arranged in a plurality of stages in the main scanning direction. The optical system is installed for each laser recording means, and therefore the need of using a lens of a large aperture is eliminated. The optical recording head can be made compact and light-weight by miniaturization of the optical system. In addition, the high-resolution image can be formed at the high speed also to the recording medium of a large width, so that the productivity is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
